SPOKANE--Police catalogued thousands of items as evidence in the Operation Red Light case.
From just one of the spa owners, detectives seized more than $100,000 in cash and jewelry.
Newly released photographs also shed light into the alleged prostitution ring.
Detectives say the pictures were advertised on Spokaneboard.com, one of the websites where prostitutes allegedly connected with “johns.” The pictures show a front counter, a sauna area and even what appears to be massage tables.
The advertisement also showed images of several women and promoted a $50 discount off services. The ad said the spa took all major credit cards and was open 7 days a week.
Other photos show evidence seized from Chin Day, the owner of Oriental Spa.
Search warrants reveal how investigators seized a safety deposit box at Washington Trust Bank. Inside, detectives found a total of $60,000 in cash. Alongside the cash and paperwork, police seized roughly $60,000 in jewelry.
Two of the spa owners won a court hearing Thursday where a judge ordered the property to be returned to them.
