SPOKANE VALLEY-- On Monday, Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputy Tim Jones responded to the new WalMart construction site at 5025 E. Sprague Ave. on a theft call.

Deputy Jones contacted an Aztec Electric employee who told him that sometime over the weekend four 1000 foot wooden spools of MC insulated copper wire were stolen from a construction truck that was parked inside one of the main buildings.

The employee told Deputy Jones that the wooden spools are three feet in diameter and that the total loss of the copper was estimated at $3,000.00.

Anyone with information regarding this copper theft is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
