SPOKANE, Wash.-- Authorities reported in the number of residential burglaries dropped in the third quarter of 2012 for Spokane County.
The first two quarters of 2012 saw a significant increase in the amount of burglaries, compared to the same time frames in 2010 and 2011.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said they made hundreds of arrests, in large part, because of tips from the community. In addition to restructuring personnel, authorities said the number of burglaries dropped significantly. They report the numbers were the lowest they have been since the first quarter of 2010.
