SPOKANE, Wash. -- A 14-time convicted felon appeared before a judge today on multiple charges of identity theft.

Robert Childress was accused of stealing victims' identities and writing bad checks all over the area. He is also facing drug charges from an arrest a few weeks earlier. His bond was set at $20,000.

Court documents showed some of the evidence detectives took from an apartment that Childress was staying in. Several laptops, iPads, cellphones, and other electronics are some of the few items seized by detectives.
