SPOKANE, Wash.--Murder suspect Joshua Tillery faced a Spokane judge Tuesday morning. Officers arrested Tillery on Wednesday, May 8th at a house along Ruby.
Tillery was originally scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. Yet, the Thursday and Friday court dates were rescheduled because he claimed to be sick. Lawyers said Tillery would be taken to court if he refused to go on Tuesday.
The judge set bail at $1 million for Tillery. The 33-year-old pleaded not guilty to murder.
Tillery is accused of shooting and killing Devon Mack on May 3rd at a home along North Lincoln.
Spokane Police Detectives are looking to the public for information on what led up to the murder. Detectives said they are interested in why the suspect and the victim may have been arguing before the shooting occurred.
