SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash.-- Snohomish County officials ended an Amber Alert for a baby girl born in Mill Creek. The girl was reportedly abducted Friday morning by the baby's mother.  The baby was found safe Saturday morning.

The newborn, Annabelle Martini, was taken by Jaime Martini, a 20-year-old Native American female with blonde hair and brown eyes.  The pair had last been seen Friday morning at The Mill at Mill Creek apartment complex in the 1100 block of Mill Creek Boulevard.

Mill Creek police say Martini delivered the baby around 6:30 a.m. Friday at the Mill Creek apartment complex with the help of a midwife. The midwife called 911 to report the baby was having difficulty breathing and was not responsive. Police were dispatching an aid car but canceled it when Jaimie Martini said she was taking the baby to a hospital after she was urged by the midwife. However, she and the baby had not checked in at any area hospitals.

Mill Creek police Officer Ian Durkee said the mother and baby were located Saturday at the mother's home in Tulalip in Snohomish County. He said the baby and mother are okay, and that the baby was receiving medical attention.

Police are still investigating what happened and it was unclear whether charges would be brought against the mother.
