Armed robbery at ‘Jitterz Java’ in N. Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police launched an investigation into an armed robbery at a North Spokane coffee shop Tuesday night.

Investigators said the robbery took place at the “Jitterz Java” on Northwest Blvd. and Buckeye.  A man in a ski mask and dark clothes reportedly showed a gun to an employee and took off on foot with cash from the coffee stand.

The employee was not hurt in the incident.

The suspect was described as a white male in his late 20’s, standing approximately 5’10” with a medium build.  A K-9 track was attempted but police were unable to locate the suspect.
