JULIAETTA, Idaho--  Police said alcohol contributed to a fatal crash Saturday night in Juliaetta, Idaho.

Idaho State Police said 30-year-old Drifter B. Nibler crashed into a pedestrian at about 9 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and 2nd Street.

Police said Nibler failed to see 55-year-old Stanley Olai Solberg walking across Main Street.  Nibler struck Stolberg with the front of his pickup truck according to police.  Stolberg died on scene and was taken to Kramer Funeral Home.
