Thieves snag $6,500 worth of copper from Spokane business

SPOKANE, Wash.--A business owner said he had 1,600 feet of copper wire taken outside of his business sometime between 7:00 p.m. Thursday and early morning Friday.

A deputy responded to the business near the 2200 block of North Woodruff Road. The wire was the main power lines for two suits in the complex. The estimated cost for replacement is $6,576.
