SPOKANE, Wash. --  Accused killer Jason Flett sat down with KREM 2 News for the second time in two-weeks to deny killing his ex-girlfriend. He is accused of killing Ramona Childress. An informant came forward and told police he helped Flett bury the body. Childress’ body was found in rural Spokane County near Elk.

Flett, 27, was arrested in connection to a missing person's case made one year ago. Childress, 27, vanished and was reported missing on November 14, 2012. She was last seen in October of that year.

Despite the informant’s allegations, Flett stuck with his story that he did not do anything to hurt Childress.

“This was all news to me. When this informant came out and said this, I was taken aback,” said Flett.

The informant also claimed Flett stabbed Childress and hit her repeatedly with a shovel. The informant said he helped Flett bury her body.

When KREM 2 News asked Flett what he thought of the informants allegations he said, “I never thought about that. Maybe that’s something you need to be talking to him about. You should ask him. Say, ‘Hey, mister why the hell after all this time…why all of a sudden?’”

Flett said he use to visit some loved ones in the Elk area but denies having any knowledge of the woods where Childress was found.

Flett said he is hopeful detectives will catch the real killer but he said he plans on providing no help to lead them in what he said is the right direction.
