NEWPORT, Wash. -- Washington State Patrol’s Auto Theft Unit conducted a search warrant for a possible homicide at a home on Enchanted Forest Lane near Newport Friday.

Authorities said they did not find a body.

An informant told authorities that a body was buried at this home. The Washington State Patrol’s Auto Theft Unit investigated the claim because they had served a search warrant on the property a week prior.

Detectives found extensive stolen property during their first search warrant and one person was arrested.

WSP said the investigation into the possible homicide continues. They have not identified the possible victim.

During the previous raid, authorities in Pend Oreille County said they found guns, drugs, and stolen vehicles. They are currently investigating to see if suspects Walter Todd, 49, and Robert Todd, 47, ran a chop-shop.

More than 50 officers from Pend Oreille County, Bonner County, Kootenai County, Spokane County, and Washington State Patrol joined SWAT teams from two agencies to raid the property. They arrested Walter Todd and Robert Todd without a fight.
