QUINCY, Wash. -- Detectives recovered about $20,000 worth of stolen property in a Quincy, Wash. home.
Detectives served a search warrant to the house in the 13000 block of Road M.5-Northwest Thursday after an investigation into local thefts.
The sheriff’s office says it found a range of stolen property, including a truck-mounted fuel tank, electric fuel pump, 4000-watt Honda generator, laser surveying tools, four railroad crossing batteries, an oxy-acetylene torch, Suzuki ATV, chop saw and most of a stolen GMC pickup truck.
One of the suspects was arrested for other warrants the day before. Daniel Amaya, 39 of Ephrata, was booked into the Grant Count Jail and will face charges related to the stolen property.
Police say they also found two firearms at the house, which is illegal for Amaya, a convicted felon. The guns were also seized.
Deputies expect to recover more property and find additional suspects related to this investigation.
