COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- KREM 2 engineers are upgrading the KREM translator in Coeur d'Alene so our viewers in North Idaho will receive a digital HD signal.

If you watch us over the air in North Idaho you will need to rescan the channels on your TV or box in order to see the KREM signal.

Prior to the upgrade, North Idaho viewers watched KREM on our channel 41 analog translator.  After the upgrade these viewers can find KREM on digital channel 41 or channel 2.1.

Additionally, you will be able to view CoolTV on channel 2.2.

To make sure you can see the new digital KREM, first change channels on the remote by pressing down the channel up/down button. Then input channel 2.1 (or 2-1) on your remote.

If you do not see channel 2.1 you’ll need to rescan the channels (under “settings” option on most sets).

If you watch us on cable, Dish or DirecTV you don't have to do anything.

If you have a question about rescanning your television please contact KREM engineers at engineering@krem.com or call 509-838-3565.
