SPOKANE—The Spokane County Interstate Fair is still more than a month away, but organizers are still on the hunt for more employees.
They hosted a job fair for Wednesday to snag a few new hires. 250 temporary jobs are up for grabs for the fair in September.
Hundreds turned out to fill out an application for positions ranging from tickets sales to janitorial services.
Not all 250 positions are up for grabs. Staff said people who have worked at the fair before automatically get the job if they want it.
Organizers scheduled another job fair Saturday, starting at 8:30 a.m., for anyone interested in applying for a position.
