SPOKANE, Wash. -- Hundreds of people camped out in the wee hours Thursday hoping to score some good deals at K-Mart.
The store opened its doors at 6 a.m. Thursday for its Black Friday deals. Some people reported waiting overnight hoping to snag deals on electronics.
Several other stores planned to open Thursday, as well, instead of the traditional Black Friday.
Wal-Mart and Target are two big retail chains planning to open Thursday evening. Several stores in and around the Spokane Valley, including Best Buy, are set to open doors to shoppers at midnight.
Other stores like JC Penny and Nordstrom planned to wait until Friday morning to open up shop.
