SEATTLE - Is Halloween scaring up some business?

That's the belief of one leading research company.

IBISWorld suggests despite the economy, Halloween sales will reach a record-breaking $6 billion this year - that's up 4.2 percent over last year.

Cashier Sarah Tecca of the Spirit Halloween store in Puyallup says she's seen brisk business at her store because "with these hard times you know you want to have fun, and you get to be something you're not."

The store was full of customers on Tuesday night, with people looking for masks, costumes, and colorful lights.
