While the Nintendo Wii U is the must-have gaming system for kids this year, Nielsen actually found the iPad is the most desired device by youngsters.
Forty-eight percent of children between six and 12 years old said they want an iPad, while 39 percent want the Nintendo console.
Three Apple products follow the Nintendo Wii U on the list: iPod Touch, iPad Mini, and iPhone.
