SAN DIEGO, Calif. – A new cable station called DogTV provides programming designed to calm dogs when they’re left alone at home.
The network airs various three to six-minute “relaxing, stimulating and behavior-improving” segments that it says can reduce stress and separation anxiety.
Pet experts developed the programming to appeal specifically to a dog’s hearing and vision, according to the station’s website.
The station is currently only available in the San Diego market, but planned to expand to new markets within the next few months. Programming is available to stream on the website, for a subscription fee.
