Well, now I think I know why the robber needed paramedic attention. They say you shouldn't try stopping these guys, to give them what they demand and you stay safer. I guess this pharmacist assessed the situation, and in this case it worked out good. Great job. Hope they don't lose their job for doing it.

I think this is what it is going to take to stop these criminals from robbing pharmacies, had he not been tackled he would of been on to the next job.... Good job to the pharmacist, I hope there are no reprecussions for him.

The gunman was suffering from sever DT's, he needed to get himself to the ER or a rehab clinic. Instead he chose the last and worst resort.

I say YAY to the pharmacist! For most of us in the healthcare field we are behind you! And BOOOOO to Shopko Home Office for firing him!!!!! The pharmacist didn't know he was armed until he tackled him, how that is not taken into consideration is beyond me! These people are consistantly getting away with robbing pharmacies because they know the pharmacists are told to give them what they want. Well guess what robbers you might want to think twice! By the way Shopko, why don't you have panic buttons in your pharmacies? Maybe you should look into that instead of what policy the pharmacist broke! Good Job Pharmacist!!!!!
