SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane is attempting to throw its way into the record books.
On Saturday, at least 9,000 people are expected to show up for a massive water balloon fight. It would beat the current Guiness Book of World Records water balloon fight record currently held by the University of Kentucky.
Experts will be on hand Friday to meticulously count crews filling up 350,000 water balloons for the fight.
Even though the actual event takes place sometime after 4 p.m., fun activities are planned from noon to 10 p.m. at the Spokane County Raceway. The cost is $2.
