SEATTLE (AP) -- Seattle police are investigating the case of a store clerk who says a woman hurled a bag of hot liquid cheese at him when he asked her to pay for the cheese she squirted atop her Doritos.
Police say the woman bought the chips early Monday at a convenience store, opened the package, then began pouring hot cheese into the bag from the store's liquid chili cheese dispenser.
The clerk says when he told the customer he'd have to charge for the cheese, she started screaming at him and tossed the bag at his head, spattering him with orange goo.
When the clerk followed her to a car, he says she punched him and took off.
The clerk tells police he believes the woman is a regular customer. He wasn't seriously hurt.
