SPOKANE—Medics rushed a man to the hospital early Thursday after a rollover wreck in North Spokane.
Authorities said it happened around 4:30 a.m. on N. Day Mt. Spokane Road near the intersection of Dunn Road.
They said a witness heard the crash and immediately called for help. Police said when they arrived on scene, the driver was trapped in his car which had rolled into a creek over an embankment. They quickly freed the man from the car and put him on an ambulance stretcher.
MedStar was called in to transport the man to a local hospital. They landed in a field just a short distance away from the crash. Medics said the man appeared to have minor injuries, mainly to his right arm, but his body temperature was their main concern.
Authorities said the man was wearing a seat belt. They did not release a cause for the wreck.
