Winds up to 50 mph expected for Inland Northwest

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Washington and parts of Idaho are bracing for strong winds Tuesday.

Local advisories have been issued throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho for:

The Coeur d’Alene area, the Idaho Palouse, the Lewiston area, lower Garfield and Asotin Counties, the Washington Palouse, the Moses Lake area, the Spokane area, the Wenatchee area, the Upper Columbia Basin and the Waterville Plateau.

Wind speeds were expected to reach up to 50 mph Tuesday morning. Gusts are expected to hold tight from 25 mph to 35 mph until the evening.
