Gusty wind continues to blow in Inland Northwest

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Wind Advisories have been issued for parts of eastern Washington and north Idaho for Sunday through Monday.

The advisory remains in effect from 11 a.m. Sunday until 5 p.m. Monday.

Wind speeds could reach anywhere between 20 and 30 miles per hour.  Gusts could reach up to 55 miles per hour.

The National Weather Service expects the wind to be the worst late in the afternoon and into the night.

The areas included in the advisory are: Northern Idaho Panhandle, Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, Washington Palouse, Moses Lake area, and the Upper Columbia Basin.

Gusty wind can make it difficult to travel. They could also blow down smaller tree limbs.

The wind combined with cold temperatures can result in wind chill readings in the teens to lower 20's.
