MEAD, Wash. -- A water truck flipped after rounding a corner early Monday near Mead.
Authorities said the water truck landed on its top and hit two other cars stopped at a stop light around 7:30 a.m. near Highway 2 and Mt. Spokane Park Drive.
The drivers of the two other cars were able to escape uninjured. Rescue crews had to pry the driver of the truck out of the rig. The truck driver did not suffer any major injuries. However, medics did take the driver to the hospital to be checked out.
Authorities said they needed to investigate how fast the truck driver was going at the time of the crash. They said they will also look at possible mechanical errors.
