SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -- Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies are trying to track down the person who stole one of the county’s Water District trucks.

A Water District worker reported the theft the morning of Feb. 14th.  The worker said someone trespassed into a fenced parking lot at 1225 N. Yardley and stole a utility truck.

The vehicle is white 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Washington plates.

Detectives took images of a possible suspect from a surveillance camera. Authorities said the photos were taken when the suspect stopped to get gas for the stolen truck.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Detective Mark Renz at (509) 477-3330.
