PULLMAN, Wash.--A female Washington State University student was shot with a blow dart on Sunday night on College Hill according to police.
Pullman police responded to the incident around 9:30 p.m. on Colorado Street.
The 20-year-old told officers she was hit with the blow dart while walking with a friend. The dart penetrated two layers of clothing and stuck about a half inch into her stomach. She removed the dart and was checked by paramedics.
Pullman police reviewed surveillance footage from the area and believe the blow dart might have been shot from a dark colored sedan that was driving by.
Officers said the incident could qualify as a felony assault.
