Vivint managers looking to hire 400 in Liberty Lake

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.--A new company, Vivint, hosted a job fair Thursday to fill 400 positions.

Vivint is the largest home security and automation services company in the U.S. Jobs pay about $50,000 according to company leaders who are looking to open a 250 seat call center in Liberty Lake.

The job fair began Thursday afternoon at the Vivint offices at 22425 East Appleway Drive.

Vivint creates home security and energy systems which are controlled automatically by homeowners. The systems allow users to control their door locks, lights, thermostats, and security systems from mobile devices or online.

Managers said they are looking for two types of employees. Vivint leaders plan to hire entry level sales personnel and employees with experience in the field. The more experienced positions pay between $60,000 and $80,000.

“There's so many talented, highly educated people here and we want to bring them great careers, great opportunity to stay in the area and really provide themselves and their families," said Manager Eric Patrick.

Applicants can drop off their resumes or submit one online. The next job fair is Tuesday.

Vivint leaders said they plan to open in about one month.
