SPOKANE, Wash. -- After braving the cold and snow for eight days, a local veteran’s mission is over.
Erik Hanson lived on a scissor lift in Spokane Valley since last week.
His goal was to raise money and awareness for homeless veterans. Hanson made it down around 5 p.m. Friday.
“Feeling good to be on the ground honestly. It’s been a long week-- pretty cold, miserable and generally uncomfortable. I’m glad we did it,” Hanson said.
Hanson helped raise about $4,000 in donations.
