SPOKANE, Wash. -- A married couple faces felony charges for allegedly having 11 ounces of methamphetamine in their home.
The Spokane County SWAT Team served a search warrant to Mark Bush, 38, and Crystal Peterson, 30, in their home Thursday in the 1700 block of East Mallon Road following a lengthy investigation.
The sheriff office’s Investigative Support Unit (ISU) estimates the street value of the meth to equal $13,000 to $19,000.
The couple was booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance charges, with intent to deliver.
This is Bush’s thirty-ninth arrest in Washington State. His criminal history fills 150 pages and dates back to June 1991. He has six felony convictions to his name. Peterson has four.
Detectives found a 14-year-old boy at the house. He told police his dad brought him there from the Tri-Cities Wednesday night. His dad was not there when police woke up the boy. Bush and Peterson say they don’t know who the boy is, who his parents are, nor how he got to their house. He’s now is in the custody of CPS.
