SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police were searching for two men who they say robbed a U.S. Bank Friday morning.

Authorities said the two men with ski masks held up the bank on the 3900 block of N. Lincoln Street around 9:45 a.m.  The suspects reportedly indicated they had a gun.  Police said the robbers then left on foot with cash.

A K9 track for the pair was unsuccessful.  Police said a suspect may have dropped something in an alley nearby, but investigators were not certain what it was.

Willard Elementary, which is near the bank, was briefly locked down as a precaution.

Investigators asked that anyone who may have seen anything call Crime Check.
