SPOKANE, Wash. -- The two victims in a north Spokane gang shooting over the weekend were arrested Thursday.
Apolonio Saldana and Tony Figueroa were each hit multiple times in Saturday’s shooting.
Earlier in the day, police say both victims were involved in an assault and a robbery.
Around 3 a.m. Saturday, the two shooting victims and a third male assaulted a man as he entered an apartment at 220 E. Wellesley. An hour later, the two also entered a house at 311 E. Liberty and took several things from another man.
Police were called to 311 E. Liberty on reports of a shooting at 4:05 a.m. and found Saldana on the floor of a bedroom with gunshot wounds. Tony Figueroa was found a short time later on the porch of a nearby home with gunshot wounds as well. A third victim was found near Liberty and Addison with a blunt force trauma wound to his head,
Both men have been arrested for 1st Degree Burglary, but are not in custody yet because they’re still in the hospital.
Officers believe the victims and suspects both have gang ties.
