GEORGE, Wash. -- Authorities arrested two people who are accused of a double shooting in Grant County.
Deputies and Quincy Police found and arrested Hector M. Contreras Rodriguez, 21, and a 16-year-old boy on Monday morning. Police said both suspects are accused of attempted murder.
The shooting happened Sunday night around 9:15. Two teenagers suffered gunshot wounds near 215 East Montmorency Boulevard.
Deputies arrived within minutes according to their report.
Bullets hit a 16-year-old boy in torso, knee and face according to deputies. The other victim was a 14-year-old female. She was hit by a bullet in the torso. Authorities said both victims were airlifted from Quincy Valley Medical Center and are in serious condition.
According to witnesses, four people including the two victims were sitting in a car in front of the home. Another car pulled up behind them, at least two people got out of that car and began firing, striking two people in the first car. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.
