Two cyclists hit by cars in separate incidents in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash.--Two cyclists were hit by cars in two separate incidents in Spokane on Wednesday night.

First, a car hit a cyclist near Francis and Fotheringham. The cyclist was taken to the hospital for some head injuries. Authorities said the injuries were not life threatening.

Another driver hit a cyclist riding in the crosswalk of 29th and Ray. That cyclist was treated for a possible broken collar bone.
