SPOKANE, Wash.--A robbery at Rosa’s Pizza ended with two suspects charged with one count of First Degree Robbery on Thursday.
Spokane Police received a report of a robbery at the pizza parlor near E. Courtland Avenue and N. Division Street around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday. The caller said that two males had entered Rosa’s Pizza, displayed guns, demanded cash and had fled the location, according to police.
Police were not able to find the suspects when they arrived on scene. A witness was able to give a description of the suspects.
Officials said a Spokane Police officer contacted a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Cataldo and Division two hours later. Officials said the officer recognized that individuals inside the vehicle matched the description of the suspects. Witnesses identified the suspects as the Rosa’s Pizza robbers, according to police.
The two suspects, 46-year-old Gregory A. Binkley and 37-year-old Richard L. Baird, were arrested and charged with one count of 1st Degree Robbery.
