SPOKANE, Wash. -- An armed person robbed a Little Caesar's restaurant on 29th Street on South Hill just before 10:30 Sunday night, according to police.

Authorities said this might be related to a recent string of burglaries across the Spokane area.

Witnesses reported that the suspects entered the restaurant through an unlocked back door. They then assaulted the employee before attempting to take cash. The employee only had minor injuries.

One suspect was described as a light-skinned black male. The other was described as possibly Hispanic. Both are 5'9" and medium build. They were were wearing hoodies at the time of the robbery.

Police asked anybody with information to immediately call 911 because of the aggressive nature of the robbery. They also asked businesses to keep their back doors locked and to keep an eye out for suspicious people are vehicles.
