SPOKANE, Wash.-- The side of a well-traveled road on Spokane’s South Hill has turned into a giant trash can.
Neighbors said alcohol bottles, food wrappers, and trash line Stevens between 8th and Cliff Drive. The stretch of road is right underneath Edwidge Woldson Park on Cliff Drive, overlooking Spokane.
Neighbors said people who go to take in the sights are often tossing their trash over the ledge of the cliff.
The City of Spokane said it hasn’t received any complaints recently about the area. But staff said if a report is filed, clean-up crews can be dispatched with 24 hours.
