SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A train blocked traffic for over an hour Monday night because the conductor thought he might have hit a person on the tracks.
The train stopped near Trent and Fowler. Spokane Valley Police said the conductor heard a loud noise and thought he hit someone.
Authorities searched the area and found a man suffering from alcohol withdrawal near the tracks and took him to the hospital. They said, however, the man was not hit by the train.
