GRANGEVILLE, Idaho -- Three people died in a pickup truck crash early Saturday morning a couple miles south of Grangeville, Idaho according to authorities.
Authorities said the driver of the pickup was traveling north on Grangeville-Salmon Road when the driver lost control on a curve. The driver swerved off one side of the road and corrected to the other side. The truck went off the other side of the road and hit a tree. The pickup caught fire and was fully engulfed in flames.
The driver and two passengers died at the scene.
Authorities identified the passengers as Justin Dempsey, 18, James McColloch, 17, and Lelah Layman, 17.
Authorities said they are still investigating.
