16-year-old driver causes Idaho motorcycle crash

PRIEST RIVER, Idaho—Authorities believe a 16-year-old driver failed to yield involving a car and motorcycle crash.

Idaho authorities said it happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday near Priest River.  They said the teen driver was merging from North Bend Riley Creek Road onto HWY 2.

They said a motorcycle traveling on the highway hit the back of the teen’s car.  Authorities said the motorcyclist was injured but did not release the extent of their injuries.  No word on any injuries to the teen driver.

Also, no word yet whether the teenager faces any charges for the crash.
