DEER PARK, Wash.-- A Deer Park man was forced out of his mobile home early Friday after his stove caught fire.
Fire officials said it happened around 2 a.m. on the 300 block of South Fir Avenue.
Firefighters said the man was cooking fish when the stove caught fire. The flames jumped to the walls and quickly spread through the rest of the home.
The man managed to make it out of the home safely, but experts said the house was destroyed.
Red Cross stepped up to help the man in the meantime.
