SPOKANE—Fire investigators suspected arson was to blame after a car went up in flames early Wednesday in North Spokane.
Fire crews quickly put out the car fire just after 8:30 a.m. in an alley near Cedar and Princeton. A nearby garage had some minor charring but no other damage was reported.
Authorities determined the car was recently stolen and planned to talk to the legal owner. No word yet on how the fire started or any suspects in the case.
