SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Police arrested a man late Sunday after he kicked a driver’s car then fought with officers.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 200 block of W. Riverside Avenue, according to the Spokane Police Department.

Officers responded after Curtis W. Bunch hit another person’s car, then he and the driver got into an argument.  The two were still arguing when officers arrived on scene.

Officers determined Bunch jumped in front of the complainant’s car and kicked it.  While being taken into custody for harassment, Bunch kicked one officer in the leg and hit another in the face.  Bunch was transported to jail and continued to fight with jail staff.

Bunch was booked into jail for one count of Harassment and two counts of 3rd Degree Assault.  No major injuries were reported.
