SPOKANE, Wash. – Pig Out in the Park draws thousands of people into Downtown Spokane each year.  In addition to food booths this year, one man set up shop hoping to promote his project to help abused children.

Robert Carter set up a booth to promote a park he wants to build as a memorial for child abuse victims.  He is calling it the Wall of Little Heroes.

Carter said the site would be dedicated to raising awareness about child abuse and remembering the lives of those who have died.

Carter said he was in talks with the City of Spokane Valley about having the park built there.  To help with the park fund, you can donate at his booth at Pig Out in the Park or visit Walloflittleheroes.com.
