SPOKANE VALLEY-- Loud noises outside his house woke a homeowner early Wednesday morning. He looked outside to see two men allegedly trying to break into his vehicle.

The man heard the noise around 2:30 a.m. at his house in the 2800 block of South Davis Road.

He opened his door, and the suspects ran. Soon after, the homeowner saw them peeking into more vehicles. The man’s wife then called the police.

Deputies found one of the men hiding in a yard in the 13500 block of East Redlin Road. Jacob Mager, 24, was arrested for 2nd Degree Trespass.

The owner of the yard Mager was hiding in said she will press charges, as well.

The second suspect was not found.
