SPOKANE, Wash. – All but one flight departing and destined for Spokane were on time Friday morning, despite several cancellations and delays in other major airports.
The one cancelled flight was a United Airlines flight to Denver that was supposed to depart at 5:55 a.m. Travelers said the airline told them their plane never made it to Spokane, though there was no word on whether the cancelled flight was weather-related.
It is the connecting flights where Inland Northwest travelers may run into issues, though most fliers weren’t too concerned for disruptions on Friday morning.
“I’m headed to Dallas this morning,” Eva Coulson said. “We have to fly to Denver so hopefully it won’t be too bad.”
One local traveler headed to Newark Liberty International Airport, where several flights have been cancelled and delayed due to the storm, said his itenarary showed his flight would arrive on time. However, he said he would be keeping his fingers crossed that would be the case.
