SPOKANE -- Spokane Police say they have caught a man who robbed a Zip Trip in North Spokane, along with his accomplice.  Police say 25-year-old Christopher R. Walinski entered the Zip Trip at 3030 E. Euclid at about 11 p.m. on September 29th, confronted the store clerk with a gun, demanded money, and left on foot.

Detectives say 24-year-old Justin Ellery was waiting for him in a nearby get-away car after the robbery.  Police say Ellery was recently arrested for 1st Degree Robbery of the Papa Johns on 900 E. Indiana.

Police say they have arreasted Walinski and added another 1st Degree Robbery charge on Ellery.

A Spokane Police officer announcing the arrests Friday says Walinski and Ellery wore masks during the hold-ups and didn't leave any fingerprints.  He credited Officer Casey Jones and "excellent police work" for their capture.
