PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Whitman County SWAT Team helped end a standoff on the campus of Washington State University Tuesday.

According to Pullman radio station KQQQ, police said they tried to pull over a driver Tuesday morning.  The driver, however, drove instead to the Chief Joseph apartment complex on campus.  Investigators said the driver and another man ran into one of the units.

The SWAT team eventually entered the apartment around 5:30 a.m.  Authorities arrested a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old.

Police said the suspects are not WSU students.
