SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a father and son on outstanding felony warrants Friday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office said Jerry Everett Sr., 49, was wanted on property crime warrants and Jerry Everett, Jr., 27, was wanted for an escape from the Department of Corrections.

Authorities said Everett, Jr. and another man stole a classic 1936 Ford coupe in 2012. They said the owner found parts from the car up for sale on E-bay.

The two were at the home of Everett Sr.’s mother near E. 16th Avenue and University road when they were arrested, according to investigators.  The SWAT team entered the home and arrested the father and son when the pair refused to come out, deputies said.

Everett, Sr. and Everett, Jr. were booked into the Spokane County Jail later Friday morning.

Everett, Sr. appeared in court Friday on four charges that include theft of a motor vehicle, theft and posession of stolen property.
