(KAHLOTUS, Wash.) -- Rock and mudslides forced the closure of a state highway outside of Kahlotus, WA with no estimate yet on when it will reopen.

State Route 263 is closed from Mile Post 1 at the Monumental Dam, to Mile Post 9 at the cutoff for State Route 260.  There are no detours because county roads in the area are experiencing similar problems.
